Supervision in Oregon for social workers looking to gain their clinical license LCSW CSWA

OREGON

Supervision offered virtually in Oregon.

In the state of Oregon, supervision is a collaborative process resulting in the professional growth of the Associate.

At this time, Oregon is allowing 100% remote supervision by video and by telephone in light of temporary rule changes due to COVID. You will see these temporary changes under the COVID19 Information tab on the top of the website page. It is also in the rules at the end as a temporary addition.

It appears that the board is going to try and keep the changes that were made to remote supervision, but nothing has been decided yet.

A minimum 3500 hours of supervised work experience must be documented of which 2000 hours are direct client hours. CSWAs must receive an average of one hour twice per month of face-to-face supervision for two cumulative years, for a minimum total of 100 hours of supervision with at least 50 hours of face to face individual supervision. No more than 50 hours may be in a group setting (5 or fewer with a supervisor) and count toward the 100 hour.

Contact Ashley below to set up a free, 30 minute call to discuss your interest in supervision.
